Once Upon a Time…
Write & Roll is brain child of Emma Livesey-Green.
Emma was born and raised in the Traralgon and was always passionate about telling stories and sharing her love of the creative arts with others.
Upon beginning her PhD at Deakin University, Emma’s main desire was to find a way to teach creative writing and promote creativity among those in regional communities, particular the wider Gippsland region that she still calls home.
Out of this leading brief came the original tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) Places in Time.
Introducing
Places in Time
Unique to all of Write & Roll’s programs in the original TTRPG Places in Time.
Encorperating creative writing conventions with concepts of place theory, Places in Time uses a simple 2d6 (six-sided dice) system.
During gameplay, players can work together to build a world, create protagonists and then play out a complete narrative, learning aspects of setting, character creation, and storytelling as they play.
